hello friends!
ahhh...home again, following another long stretch of shows and fun. being back in toronto is wonderful - and warm! we truly did skip winter on this here cherry pickin' tour! the past couple of months and miles have been a dream. sarah, jacquie and i are belly-sore from laughter and song, truly inspired by our country(ies), friends - new & old, and...well, each other. this tour has been a creative retreat to say the least...there's much more 'a brewin for the months to come....!
...including a charity concert for canadian mental health, a new album/dvd (!) to launch, and the northern ontario film and music awards....but first, a cherry pickin' re-cap, of course...

oh how sweet it was, indeed.
from the toronto kick-off to the railroad serenades, the edmonton reunion to bingo-madness in golden, the vancouver folk-olympics to chilly san-fransisco (i know! who knew?!), famous cupcakes in LA to seattle's finest detour, late night acoustic jams in snow-globy field, b.c. to a very-early breakfast television in calgary, and a star-studded send-off show back in edmonton to life on the (via) rails again all the way home to toronto (with 35ish shows in between)...the cherry pickin' tour has been a slice!

for years, i've been wanting to put together a showcase of my hometown's fine talent...seeing as there is so much seeping out of it. i've also been looking for an excuse to give back to canadian mental health....voila the perfect mix. here are the details - poster attached (designed by the amazing andrew knapp) ;)
