it's hot in the city! ...and i like it!
this last month home in toronto has been wonderful. i'm enjoying encounters with the coatless....it seems everyone is coming out of the woodwork with these mad heatwaves!
this last weekend's southern ontario swing with seth anderson (the renegade kid) was great! big thanks to the pearl company in hamilton, the station coffee house in brantford and the cornerstone in guelph - and all of those who filtered in. such incredible culture specks on our map :)
june is coming to a close....already! *gasp* so, i'll be tying birthday month up with a big bow and ribbon....and two shows in TORONTO! both shows will feature Josh Turnbull on drums and the lovely SJ Darling on backup vocals!!!!! friday at the cameron house and tuesday at bread and circus in the market -- not to be missed! and cheap (pay what you can)! ...then it's back up north to sudbury for the canada day concert by the lake at science north, to perform songs by canadian greats with the Toe Jam Tequilla Band before the fireworks....and july. oh, july! (july highlights?....northern lights festival boreal, press club, london music club...and Jungal arrives from australia (!) to kick off the west coast canada summer tour!!!!)
summer was oh so worth the wait.
